Library
The library is located at the lower level of 222 Dickson Street, Pembroke, Ont. at the corner of Dickson Street and Maple Avenue in a building owned by the Masonic Lodge. There is plenty of free on-site parking and the building is climate-controlled (warm in winter and cool in summer). There are flight of stairs and they are reported as being very manageable.
The library is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. and on the 3rd Saturday of the month from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m.
The library is normally closed on holidays. The library is open Tuesday and Thursday afternoons subject to changes and cancellations. If you are planning to visit from a distance contact the Librarian ahead of time to confirm the library will be open. When the library is closed, or to arrange other times for research, please contact our Librarian, Diane Burnett at 613-735-6664.
We welcome donations of family histories, local histories, old street directories and any other genealogy-related material.
Our Library is open to members and non-members. Only members may sign out books. The library does not offer a mail service.
